    Decent quality CV joints

Euro car parts were trying to fob of some happy clapping panda CV's on me, GSF have some GKN which after a bit of research it seems quality can vary despite being OE. Can anyone recommend a brand that's done some hard miles on their s2?

GKN seems to use Löbro CV joints. Löbro is a good quality brand, the joits it self is good, but have heard the the rubber boots isn't so good anymore. OE rubber boots are a lot better.

Lobro are the OE ones, Lobro is a GKN brand - they are as close to OE as you will get i think, although everything these days is built to a tighter budget than 20 years ago

What make of boots do you have now James? Looks like a more silicone based version.
I asked CDX in Sweden for some motorsport CV's but never got a clear answer (yet)

Racing Lubro ones with plastic O-rings to stop the boot from crushing and pushing all the grease out. Same as the works cars

              Cheers for the info.

If anyone is after one GSF Kingston have a GKN S2 outer cv joint there for £22, last one before they go over to the Chinese GSP stock.

                CV joints

Don't forget the UV joint may need a fettle if your CV's are goosed and the prop shaft may need balancing to remove any vibration.

GKN and their companies are the OE ones available now as discussed above.
