Can anyone recommend some decent specs for a lowered/stiffened fwd 80? Driven moderately hard, but does all round driving (motorway etc) Was thinking a degree of camber should do. How much toe?

Factory spec is 1mm toe-in iirc, but you can go to zero toe or even slight toe out if you want to aid turning in corners. -
paralel is the best call after a propper setup on a Hunter tracker
Hunter setups are far far superior to just a normal "geometry" setup
trust me

bit of a camber increase should give you a bit more grip mid-corner and help offset the dynamic loss from the mcstrut. More castor would be great too, but hard to achieve. Its all quite subjective though and will depend on how you drive. Very much a dark art though and what works for one won't necessarily work for someone else

i must appologise, im stuck in the B4 world and keep forgetting the b3/4 does not have the same front top suspension setup!
yes, about -1.5/2degrees camber is always good if achiveable
rather than going to a normal tracking center, use a motorsport specialist if you have one local
and bank on £100-150 for a propper setup that will give you a different car afterwards

Yeah last few times I've had full camber alignment done its never come out too well, usually a kid trying to say +0.5 and -0.5 is acceptable because its within tolerances. I'll stick to parallel and a degree, see how that gets on. Can anyone recommend a decent place in the Surrey area?Comment
