B4 rear suspension into a coupe? What would it take?

As above, has anybody considered it? Surely had the coupe gone through another revision Audi would have gone through the B4 parts bin for all the parts anyway.

It's not 'immpossiable' very little is. But seriously it would take a great deal of work and research to get such a conversion correct. Would have to be done on a custom jig and would be very time consuming.

b5 front end as per Ryss and b4/b5 back end would be ideal. Great to see those pics back and thanks to the link to Ryss' thread. Total admiration for his work.

I'll offer up a b4/b5 rear subframe to the coupe tomorrow evening.
