    Nuts and bolts

    Folks,

I'm now entering the 3rd year of my never ending strip down and rebuild of my S2. Looking for some advice on where to obtain the above for my rear subframe rebuild.

There are plenty of threads that set out the part numbers for the various nuts and bolts I will need to replace - what I'm after is some advice as to where to get them from?

I guess at least some of these are fairly specialised and should be sourced ideally from Audi? Will a local dealer be able/willing to order these?

Any other suppliers you'd recommend who will sell to Joe Public?

As a check - the best list I have for rear subframe so far is:

    Subframe bolts x4 N 905 569 02 (M10 75mm)
    Subframe washers x4 823 199 347
    Wishbone bolts(combi) x4 N 904 893 01 (M10 78mm)
    Wishbone nuts x 4 N 021 195 5 (M10)
    Anti-roll bar bolts x 4 N 101 016 03 (M8 18mm)
    Tie rod nut (subf end) x2 N 021 191 6 (M12x1.5)
    Tie rod nut (strut end) x 2 N 011 189 6 (M10x1)
    Diff mount bolt (left) N 010 500 2 (M10 110mm)
    Diff mount bolt (right) N 010 481 4 (M10 95mm)
    Diff mount bolt (centre) N 010 472 11 (M10 85mm)
    Diff mount nut x 3 N 021 195 5 (M10)
    Anti-roll bar drop link nut x2 N 021 195 5 (M10)

    All help appreciated.

    Derek.

Except for subframe and wishbone bolts I use A4 stainless for everything. You have the sizes, just order what you need. It will be cheaper than OEM and last forever. Essential bolts like wishbone and subframe bolts use OEM and you can buy from the local dealer or TPS

Try www.a2a4.co.uk for stainless bits, normally next day delivery too

No I used either OEM or 12.9s for all critical fasteners

3rd year of rebuilding ,I'm glad I'm not the only one who is taking so long
When I was working on underneath of my S2,I replaced almost every bolt, most of them from Audi/TPS.If I was doing it again I would replace critical ones with OEM and rest of it just get it plated and reuse.
