Guys anyone had experience with kw coilovers on urs6's?

Seen that kw do a basic coilover kit on our c4 chassis s6's, just wondered how they compared to Koni/ eibach or H&R spring shock setups?

And is there a company who do poly bush kits for the 1995 s6?

    Cheers
    Damien.

kw is biggest **** I ever see.
I had it on my 200 20v, and first few month everything was fine , than spring became to be softer and softer every month, until now when it hit them from car and put old Eibach back on car. it was not possible to drive , even the smallest crack or bumper at the road will kick like I tought that will destroy front of car.
KW V1 is garbage . waste of time and money.
H&R or Eibach in combination with Bilstein (monotube) is best option for that car.

Jeepers, was seriously considering a set of KW3s for my S2 Avant, as I wanted it lower using coilovers, (but not stiffer shocks or springs tbh).

          Do any other companies do coilovers for a B4 S2 Avant, or a C4 urS6 Saloon ?

          Thanks for any feedback.

That's worrying to hear, my S2 has a set of KW V1s fitted by the previous owner (back in 09). Glad they are still there, hopefully this thread won't jinx me

DIY is best option. I done it few times and everything is fine . perfect handling , low and soft enough !

The v1's are their budget range to be fair, kw are known to put in more R&D with their coilovers. They usually ride pretty well although I can't comment on longevity never got the impression it was an issue with KWs.

Well that's interesting, as most or a lot of you know I'm a KW dealer and also run the group buy on here for KW V1's and V3's. Never had any issues with KW products. Their range does come with 2 years warranty anyway and like with most things, you're bound to get an odd one that fails from time to time...

Personally I would buy KW over any of the equivalent brands out there for the money, just wish I had the money to buy a set!
And i'm not just saying that because i'm a KW dealer as I deal many other brands also.

I noticed a thread on here where Bambridge (resident machine shop and fabricating specialist) has made a coil over set for the S2. Might be worth sending him a message about fabricating a setup for your S6.

I'm quite happy with my setup which is Bilstein shocks with Eibach springs. It's not the most forgiving ride but the S4 definitely feels very well planted and is much more direct when you turn in. I believe Koni shocks may be a little softer so a bit more of a performance/comfort compromise. I guess it depends on the usage and personal preferences.

Regarding poly bushes, I've only seen the rear subframe and diff bushes from Apikol. Bambridge has made delrin subframe bushes for the urS and they make a real difference, especially as OEM rear subframe bushes are NLA.
