    4 Wheel Geometry Set Up

    Hi All,
My Lad's A3 has today been to an Audi Dealership for, among other things, a full geometry check/adjust. He asked them how much to do my S2 Avant, and was quoted under £70 plus Vat.
Sounded maybe a little cheap to me.
Has anyone here any opinions on whether they are likely to come up with the goods for me? They have given a full print-out re his A3, inc Camber/Caster, showing before and after readings.
They obviously have the proper kit to do the job properly, but at the quoted price, will I get anything more than basic alignment.
    Your comments appreciated.......

Your problem will be when they find something that's seized up, which there will be, and you'll be paying £100/hour to free it up

if the adjusters are free its about an hours work for someone who knows what they are doing so doen't sound too bad. If they have to piss about freeing off the seized adjsuterts etc you will feel a nasty pain in your wallet i think

EDIT: Andy beat me to it!

Nothing seized, I fitted a full set of Powerflex Bushes a few months ago, and at the same time, stripped and cleaned/greased the front tracking expanders (is that the correct name for them?), so should be no probs there.

But what about the rear adjusters? They can be a real pain in the but. (track rod ends/adjusters)

yes especially on the avant with those horrible eliptical washers. I would make sure they are all greased and free moving
