S2 rear subframe under a type85 coupe quattro

I'm looking into buying an S2 as a donor for my SWB quattro project.

If I were to use an S2 Avant, I believe that the rear subframe is different & cannot be used under the back of a Type85 coupe quattro.

What are my options?? Can I weld the S2 Avant rear ARB brackets to the coupe quattro subframe & use that to carry the S2 diff & the Avant ARB??

Are the Avant rear wishbones and legs etc the same??

Or do I really need an S2 coupe rear end set up??

You need a coupe Mick!

The Avant stuff may aswell be from another make of car it is that different.
