power steering pump relocation

Right i am converting my s2 aby over to a AAN inlet manifold

I have tried to use a electronic pump but due to the brake serve running from it had probs.

Any one tried moving the std pump???

Any pics would be sweet.

why not convert to servo?

Why not mount it where the it AC pump would be, opposite side of the block. Might need to heat shield the hoses but plenty of room down there

why not just use AAN pump, bracket and alt setup?

is there not enough space to mate everything up?

this is what i had in my A4 and the PAS pump was for the servo too (although i didnt use the brake outlet)

Why not just carry on with the electric psp like you was and do away with the engine driven one?

I agree, I just installed a vacuum servo and will fit an electric steering pump as well.

I done this.Not very difficult,but must take out some aluminium from alternator bracket.I have just one foto now,but if you really need can make some more in weekend.
