  • kw v3.. adjustible topmounts?

    hi all..
just bit of friendly advice.. Ive just bought (and waiting for them) kw v3 coilovers for my avant.. what top mounts would you all recommend?

preferably i would like adjustable seen as i have fully adjustable coil overs would like nice camber caster adjustment then to compliment.. cars gonna be used track days and soon going to be stripped caged and 450+ bhp...

so far only route i can see is the weld in universal 034 ones are there any others about?

    any help welcome cheers

I believe weld in ones are the only option on these cars as you've found aswell.
If you want some cheap topmounts to cover the time till the moment you find what you want, then contact me please.

The reason for there not being many options is purely and simply that the space available to fit a top mount is so small. The OE solution may have been a very neat packaging exercise but it makes upgrades a complete faff. If you look at something like a BMW, the top mounts and turrets are about twice the diameter, so there is much more space to move the strut about and get more camber / castor.

Not sure with them ones but I got ones from 034 in the end
And are very similar.. Come with the plates to cut and weld
into the strut top To mount the adjustible plate onto..
When I fit them ill document it and attempt a how to haha
