    B3/B4 Spring Difference?

Apologies, as I guess this has been covered 1,000,001 times - I'm looking at some Spax springs for my 80q, and I understand B3/4 suspension is different? The auction says it's ok for all type 89's but is it?

The car 1991 80 quattro (B3) originally a 2.0 8v but now has an AAN engine if it makes a difference and I'm looking at these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUDI-80-90...item5642cbb0cb

    Thanks!

those springs will sit too low if you use them, you ideally need hnr's or custom coilovers.

Check andyp's thread as he's having this issue atm

So they'll physically fit regardless of B3 or B4, but too soft?

        How low is too low?

its only the rear on b4 saloon and avants thats different, fitting wise anyway. so yes they'll fit but maybe to soft due to extra weight, or maybe they're really hard with a 4 cylinder and ok on 5 cylinders
