    Febi 06161/ M6162

I know this has been discussed before, but can't remember the answer.
What is the difference between these 2 fluids?
I've just been on the GSF website, and they list M6162, but not 06161.
Before you say 'Why don't I get it from Pete Reeve' , I need it tomorrow morning.
    Help, Please...

As long as it meets VAG standard G002000, you're fine. If the Halfrauds stuff meets that standard then get it from there. They do have the right stuff IIRC.

I got my tongue in a twist about this and got 6162 (BMW) instead of 6161 (Audi) and they were similar to look at but then hydrochloric acid and water are similar to look at

        That's the Million Dollar Question!!

I'll prob go and have a look myself- no point ringing them and having some spotty 17 year old kid (who would rather sell me an 18" sub to go in the boot) tell me 'the computer says No!'

This might be it but as Halfrauds are brain dead, they've not listed the standards that it meets or shown the back of the bottle, where they're all listed

That's the stuff I was lookin at.
I was just putting the lap top down, and nip to Halfords, when the Boss casually suggests that I might 'want to' hoover the lounge, and 'while your at it, do the rest of the house as well'
What time is Halfords open 'til?

Or try your local Audi garage and see if you can buy some G002000 despite the parts department being closed... Mind you, I had to go to the new super-garage in Bristol and I felt so out of place I was waiting to be offered a skinny soya cappucino while I waited for the A3 boost pipe that I'd ordered to be delivered by a young lady in a well fitted black dress

                  From the Local Audi Dealers??
Assuming they would open the Parts Dept for me, Doubtful Eh?, My biggest prob would be that I cant get at my ISA's this morning to draw that amount of money out
At my 2nd attempt to get to Halfrauds, She now wants me to go to Tesco as well:
                  Cheers Andy
