Avant rear shocks or full set, options

Hi,

Nearly time for some new suspension for my avant. I know it's not an s2 but being a quattro avant and with 5 cylinders, it's nearly there.

I remember a few years ago looking for rear shocks for my v6 quattro avant and the choice was limited/expensive. Is it still the same ? I ended up fitting stock shocks.

What do you guys use ?
I've not got a huge budget to play with but I'm interested to know what options are out there, I'm not finding much.

Easiest thing to do is keep an eye on ebay for a set of coilovers from a s4, I picked up a complete s4/rs4 setup recently that I ended up splitting and the rears are now on a b4

Straight fit from s4 to 80q avant ?

I'd be looking to buy outright as I've no luck with ebay and nothing turns up when you need it most. I'd love new if I can afford it but I would take a good used set if they come up nearer the time.
