Urq suspension parts. Whats nla.

Right I have got my urq back after 8 years at the paint shop. Dont ask. My intentions are to build a track/fast road car wirh 20v engine with gt30r and urs4 gearbox 6 speed. So the car started off as a wr 10v. Im going to renew the suspension and make adjustable spring perchs etc. So im wondering what's the way ahead to fit s2 parts or keep urq stuff. Comfort isnt an issue, it needs to handle.

So are ball joints and track rod ends available for the urq or what bits do I need. Will s2 6 speed shafts fit? Are s2 and urq sub frames different or will u S2 subframe bolt in.

Having done it more that once in both versions, UR and S2

My suggestion would be to run a full S2 setup,

Legs, hubs, shafts, diff, gearbox, engine, loom, wishbones, steering arms, the full works.

As replacement parts for the UR stuff is becoming more expensive and harder to source

Ball joints are available but track rod ends not. There is a thread on quattroforum that gives details on what others have done to mod rods from other VAG cars to fit

Right s2 stuff it is then. Anyone with suitable bits for sale or even a tired car. I have the loom and engine already. Cheers
