    URS6 subframe mounts

    Hi,

Has anyone got the part number for the mounts that hold the front subframe in at the rear? (the ones that the lower arm bolts pass through)

Should show in this C4 UrS front suspension torque values pdf on Pg 1/2 as items 14 and 15. Note the three Item 18 bolts per side are 12 point (double hex, not triple square) and are theoretically one-timers since they are stretch bolts.

Fella on here sells solid mounts. I have them and they are good.

Thanks all, will get some ordered as its now wandering enough to swap lanes. LOL

I'm not really into solid mounts and stuff on this car to be honest, as I use it for all sorts and don't really see them as hard track cars etc

Is the car noticeable harsher in the road? How much were they?

At the smae time as the subframe mounts I changed dampers top mounts springs bottom arms etc. The solid subframe mounts also replace the front rubber mounts so all 4 mounts are solid. I noticed a very slight increase in harshness but its almost not noticable. Car feels much more controlable and nice to drive. I think the solid mounts were about 70 delivered from memory and that included bolts etc. Good quality stuff.

                I'm doing the same job!
That price is cheaper than the standard rear ones from Audi!!! Mine has the 255/40/17 S6+ wheels so would like solid ones now i think. Where do i get them?

Also, can you get powerflex wishbone/track control arm bushes for these cars?

No, not yet. I have few zink coated flange bushings and bolts ready, but no alu-bushings. I could ask my machinist if he could make a small batch of them... the problem is that he needs to buy a full 6 meter bar of aluminium. The last one run out.
