Boge fronts are avaiable from the stealers but not from boge themselves but are pricey, the rears are still available from boge £80 a pop as i bought a set. Yaz on here does the B6s in his group buy thread good price to.
I've had both and the Bilsteins are much stiffer than the Boge. You can run the Boge with std springs but I would recommend uprated springs with the Bilsteins.
Got my Bilsteins from Yaz at a great price

I'm sure I've read that the Bilsteins are 30% stiffer than std so you need springs to match. I've gone for 250lb springs on my coil overs ( 25% higher than std ) and they seem to be a good match.

Depends on your likes for driving..and yeah, how you can put up with our third world cart tracks that masquerade as roads..The latter is why i went for softer suspension than i normally prefer..so all new standard springs, standard fronts (from stealer 3 yrs ago)and cos I was ordering other stuff from QST at the time, and they had almost new rear Konis off a customer's car,I stuck 'em in. It's not a bad setup actually, and I run standard wheels too. But I do get up some really rough roads at times, so granted it's a compromise

That is spot on but if you don't have coil overs can we get uprated (stiffer) springs (except h&r's)?

and that is why I went to coil overs!!
The only option ( AFAIK ) is H&R's and they are not made any more, the spring choice for coil overs is virtually unlimited and they are reasonably price at around £40ea.

I installed Boges for a friend's aby coupe. After driving with it, I'd say they are far to soft. I'd choose bilsteins even with oe-springs. I don't see a downside having a little soft spring vs. shock. Vice versa it's a catastrophy considering the handling.
Agreed, after all the B6 Sport dampers are designed to work with factory springs.

I agree too, i have all std springs and Bilstein B6 with Avus 16". I like this setup very much, no fear of sudden bumbs and holes
