I've had to change my nearside wishbone recently and ever since at random intervals on the motorway at 70ish normally when the road heads towards the left there is quite a big vibration coming from the front wheels.
The wheels are balanced....
What can be causing this?
Cheers

I've just realised it only happens at very slight turns in the road to the left on the motorway. If i turn more than needed for example enough to change two lanes quickly, the vibration is no longer there.
I've had two sets of wheels on the car, so I'm ruling that out Costa, as this only started after the wishbone was replaced, but of course this may be a coincidence.

when the wishbone was changed, was it dropped back down onto its wheels before the bolts was tightened?
if you did it in the air then you've torn the bushes when it was dropped back down onto its wheels so you need new bushes again, there is threads on the forum about it.
Did the work myself but tightened before lowering and had it checked today and all seems tight and in order. Ball joint is new so shouldn't be a problem. New disks haven't arrived yet, it vibrates under braking because of this but when in steady speed the vibrations only started after the wishbone was replaced.

The local garage did it wrong with my first s2 and ruined the bushes and when I took down the replacement bushes from vagparts to fit into the cast wishbone they actually bent the wishbone slightly trying to fit it so I had to get a replacement off sal one night. I've not been back to that garage since.
