Compbrake. Some of they're parts are a bit hit and miss apparently.

Got them at the post office at the moment. Will pick them up tomorrow and hopefully fit them on Saturday. Can´t be worse than the totally shot ones on the car... will let you know how the first few miles feel.

So now they are fitted and it was a great boost in handling feel. Turn in is sharper but the biggest win was no clatter noise

Although a slight increase in road sound.. but that could have been imagination as well

The biggest issue was that one of the bolts was not "milled(?)" properly and would not fit in the mount, but using the drilling machine and a file I managed to get it "down sized".

All in all so far a good purchase
            /Mike

              Billet top mounts

Fitted a pair not long ago, don't know how long they'll last but they really make a difference.
              Car feels much more planted.

Do you have any pics of them pulled apart prior to install and pics of them fitted? Is it all just solid alluminium?

Forgot to take any pictures, but no. It consists of a few parts:

                    - two piece aluminum construction of which one piece is the bolt screwed on top
                    - a ball bearing is fitted inside, that allows for movement turn wise and pivot(?) wise
                    - a locking ring that holds the ball bearing in place
                    - a special bolt to attach to the damper
                    - a special washer.
