    Wishbone Bushes, Superflex or OEM?

Is the ride much harsher on superflex vs standard? I have pressed steel wishbones.

    Advice?

They can squeak but the stock ones allow a fair bit of forwards backwards wheel movement...

With poly bushings the steering feels more joined on, you have more precision when loading up the suspension into a corner, and you can feel what the tyres are doing as they get to the limit. With stock bushings you cant.

Some people confuse that with harshness, and lack of feedback as being more comfortable. Its all down to personal preference.

In my experience poly last longer, i get ~3 years from a set of front a-arm bushings, stock rubber only lasts about 3 months. Less if accidentally run into a few large potholes.

That's really what I want. I think I will go superflex then to add to the amazing RARB and FARB + New Links that I've had setup on my coupe. These will set it off a treat .

I actually felt that the car has become a lot more stable and comfortable with new links, ARBs and bushes in that respect. I'm pretty sure mine are more than shot as I can hear a slight "clunk" from the rear right wheel when I set off which I suspect are my wishbone bushes. Want to change these but will have a look for any other issues I may have underneath such as gearbox or diff mounts.

        Thanks for the advice guys

The clunk is the diff mount More than likely come loose or it's shot.

From what I've read on here steering just becomes a bit unpredictable or annoying

                    Thanks rusty

Same as regular bushings, alternating from acceleration to deceleration causes the front tracking to toe in and out. Basically if you find the car moves all over the place when you start braking, or becomes extremely fussy over camber changes and rutted roads you have soft bushings. You will know it to drive, it just feels wrong as though something is loose.

When they get that bad you will usually find the center hole has worn into an oval shape causing the excess movement.
