I dont think they are the same -

"For the ultimate in performance Powerflex introduce The Black Series. a new range of bushes developed for Race, Rally and Circuit use.

Powerflex Black Series - Designed for the Track - Ready to Race - Engineered to be the best.

Powerflex Black Series bushes are manufactured using a 95 Shore A compound to provide maximum control of chassis geometry.

This compound can be up to 80% more resistant to load than standard rubber and 25% stiffer than our purple performance material.

The 034 wishbones are very nice but its such a shame they use a standard ball joint! If you are going to have rose joints on the inner joints then you are going to want a spherical bearing for the outer!

Quite right, and a weak one at that! With your skills you should make your own Hamish
You could design them around the SQ style ball joints available from AM Cars, or indeed buy the whole set-up.

034 does delrin bushes, small and large, I think Mance used to make delrin ones as well.

034 are $136 for bushes for a pair of arms.

I had older powerflex bushes, they were purple, newer ones are black?

But if you'd navigated to the Audi 80 or coupe section, you'd have seen this:

This Bush Fits Steel Front Wishbones OnlyFor Alloy Wishbones Fit PFF3-102 This bush is suitable for Road and Black Series applications. It is the same part as the Road Series but with Black series packaging.

Powerflex is a rubbish, imho.I'am thinking of spherical bearings or poly but with oem design with metal.

Been sketching a few ideas but not come up with anything I like just yet. Problem is getting the bearing held in place as it's all very tight and the loads are applied in several directions.

I think you will crack/snap the wishbones using spherical bearings on the road!

I`ll try whiteline poly with a metal sleeve.

Bushes isn`t a major issue. Audi 80 can`t handle like a race car with kinda stone age geometry, designed to drive in a straight line with 16" wooden wheels.

                      My priority list:
                      1. CG
                      2. Front RC
                      3. Rear RC
                      4. Bump Steering
                      5. Caster
                      6. Camber
                      7. Unsprung mass
                      8.
                      9...
                      50. Bushes

Delrin has lots of advantages but one of the major disadvantages when using delrin with a pressed wishbone is the fatigue can cause the wishbone to fracture close to the bush over time with catostrophic effects.
Stiglet had these on his car and had this occur a number of times. Although im sure Delrin with the cast wishbones would be fine...

Sounds like Poly are as stiff as I dare go on these with the pressed arms then...

Tubular arms are obviously the way to go but at £1k for 4, they seem to be a bit of an extravagance.
