Can anyone tell me if when buying lowering springs for audi v8 saloon , d11 1991, they are the same as 200q[44 chassis] and c4 chassis, some h/r suppliers list two different lowering springs for d11 and c4 , but others list the same spring set for all? getting confused, also looking for said springs so any recommendations appreciated,,

its the same car.. from early audi 100 Q from 85-86, then the c4 from 91-92, and audi 200 and d11...til s6 -97, BUT the v8 verson MAYBEE some heavier in the front end ( the v8 verson + automatic tranny), so the springs and shock may have another setup (stiffer)...if you dont have the v8 verson, dont have the stiffest setup; it will understeer the car... -
Here is a photo of an AAN-powered US UrS4 (bigger bumpers than the Euro/ROW bumpers) running H&R 29921's that were designed to run on the UrS4/S6 V8s and V8 saloons (see catalogue listing under the photo):

Till ~middle of '92 V8 had chassis type44, the same one as 200Q; when Audi 100/S4 (C4) was introduced on V8 it became type4C (yes, 4C, there is no mistake, not C4) and sharing the same chassis components, stronger ones and longer lifetime then type44, with code starting 4A instead 44; regarding lowering springs (sports version) - look how many options was originally for V8 '93... depending on manual/automatic gearbox; with or without air conditioning .... just a big mess ...
