Ok, so i rang TPS today to order 857 412 135 strut gaitor and 895 412 131 bump stop for the S2, to be told they are now no longer available, can anyone suggest good alternatives please?

Might try quattro corner if you are stuck.

I have just bought bump stops and shock covers for my S2 in Dublin.
Order bump stops for the Audi 80/Passat 1981 onwards and not an S2 as they will be made of decent black rubber and not the polyurethane rubbish that doesn't last.
The shock covers I got were made by Topran and their part number is 104 146 466 and it's a replacement for 811 412 135B.
The bump stops don't have part numbers on them but they are a Topran product.
I bought this lot in a motor factors called "Otto" in Dublin.
