As title suggests. I would like some lowering springs around -30mm for my s2 but don't really want to spend £250 does anyone know where I can get some?

    Coupe or Avant?

HnR ate pretty much the only option and so £250 is actually a good price for them

Coupe mate. H and r are the only ones I've found there like £263 I think.

Nice that's better will any coupe quattro springs fit or are they specific to the S2?

They're S2 specific due to the weight, hence rarity and thus cost

Sets on MSW are for all typ89 cars rather than S2 specific. Make sure they're for cars with the 1BE suspension upgrade, as this is what the S2 has.

              For HnR springs:

Avant rear springs do not fit at the rear of a coupe but avant fronts will fit (s2driveruk has this setup), as the coupe front and rear and avant front spring design is all the same.

I will be trying coupe fronts with avant fronts on the rear, as the coupe rears do sit quite low.

If you want to really lower the car then 2 pairs of coupe rear springs would suit the bill!

Yep, as Andy points out the S2 is a fair bit heavier than a CQ especially with aircon, that said I used to use H&R springs for a 7A CQ on my partially stripped out 3B and I think I preferred them to the S2 specific ones which I found harsh.
