    S2 coupe handling

Does a s2 coupe understeer a lot? What i mean is if I was to upgrade the springs to H/R and new boge shocks and polybushed everything and put a stiffer rear antirollbar would this make the s2 oversteer or understeer more

It's all about how you drive it. Basically, slow in, fast out.

Stiffer rear bar makes a nice difference but HnR do more for looks than handling balance.

My car has stock bushes throughout, Koni shocks, HnRs and a 25mm front roll bar on the back. It's aggressive but effective. I'm adding more castor now and tweaking the strut geometry to help. It is fairly neutral to drive and will under steer a little on the power and oversteer off the power.

Don't forget tyres, arguably, they will make as much of a difference as anything described above. Track tyres mask a lot of the gkaws in the chassis by increasing grip and therefore the point at which it starts to slip.

One of the best things i did to mine was to put Contisport 5's on it, great tyres massive difference over all the previous types I've used and Bilstiens with standard springs and polybushes

Stiffer springs & shocks coupled with poly bushes will make the car feel more nimble & much sharper, but to reduce understeer you need to increase the rear axle roll stiffness in relation to the front - best bang for buck is a stiffer rear ARB for which there are a few options
