Apart from the obvious 4 stud not 5 stud, are there any differences between the running gear on the two cars?
I'm still after upgrading the 90. 4 stud could mean I would not have to have the additional expense of new wheels and tyres if all fits
Many thanks
Why not keep your diesel 6 sod and 90q rear diff / prop and change everything else?
That way you could use the v6 cq parts ( front / rear subframe, hubs , legs etc.) you wouldn't be able to use your coilovers though ( even if you went for s2 running gear )
Hi Gav ,
I know about losing my coilovers. Idea is to get larger diameter dampers. Would like to improve handling and ride as current set up is that little bit too harsh for my liking now I've hit the 50 marker lol
I've just read a project thread where the OP has converted V6 struts to coilovers.
He states (in his thread) that he purchased a kit for 55mm struts which are the same as a S2 ?
So now I'm confused
I have always been led to believe the underneath my V6 was identical to a S2 albeit apart from the hubs and as Alex pointed out a different ratio in the rear diff
My front ARB is the same diameter as an S2, G60's up front and S2 5 stud hubs will bolt straight on ?
For what this cost me so far I could have bought an S2
