    Adjustable drop links

I have the front anti roll bar fitted to the rear on my S2.

The problem I have is the rear passenger side of the arb is hitting the track control arm and is knocking when going over bumps.

Will these adjustable drop links be any good to increase the gap between the two?

I have a feeling that the arb is tensioned on one side as the gap is lower on the side that is knocking.

The car also feels less bumpy and stiff after being lifted on a jack.

I just cut and threaded the stock ones and rejoined them like this. Took 10mins.

      Good idea.

Was yours catching too? Mine only catches on one side which is why I'm thinking it's under tension.

What's the best way to set up to ensure it's not pre tensioned?

Mine was actually touching the wishbones when the suspension was compressed. It should not be in tension unless one side of the car is rolled to one side or it is jammed on something. Have you checked that the car sits at the same ride height on both sides? do you have pics of your setup and the problem area?

Il start by checking the ride height on each side as that might be the issue.

Just checked under car now and it's actually hitting the subframe so raising it a little might cure it.

It's on coilovers and iv not adjusted it since I bought the car.

Not got any pics but il take some next time if the problem persists.

          Thanks for your input.
