I spoke to one of my suppliers and these press studs are available from a number of sources, they are used as wheel studs on trailers & caravans:

That part number is NLA, so you won't get them. I'm sure I updated my project thread but must have forgot this one, anyway...
I ended up getting these - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BALL-JOINT...item3aae7c95dd or similar. I think they were the rear ones you can find on the Febi website for the original Quattro, pressed out the bolts and pressed them into the S2 arms. They were perfect.

I used Febi 14240 which are the 3 stud type for pressed wishbones, if you want you can press out the studs from securing plate and then press them into the forged arms direct just a little longer than the originals. I got mine from Amazon a couple of years ago but you can also get them here for under £3 each.
