Are Meyle a good brand? Found a place that does all the front suspension bits by them and also does HD rear ARB drop links.

Can't find rear control arms though.

Got the Meyle HD bushes in my S2, very firm and not harsh.
Kind of similar to polybushes, maybe a bit softer.

I did the front suspension arms on the S4 with Meyle HD items, them seemed to be good quality

OK. Just weighing up the options so it's either poly or HD...

I'm half tempted to try the HD and if they're not stiffer than OE, then I'll rebuild my old arms and sell the HD ones on to someone who wants them for the road.

Shame they don't do HD for the rear.

Do we think that the track rod ends, balljoints and drop links will all be of a suitable quality compared to OE Febi?

Yes, at least I think we're talking about the same part.
Control arms, forged and pressed right?

                  Those are the ones.

I use the car to go to the shops more than I get to drive it round a track

Might order the lot in Meyle and git'r'done. Want to get it all tracked up with the offset topmounts and subframe bushes.

                    I feel the pain.

Meyle HD bushings has been good to me.
Although I haven't had the car on the road very much since fitting them years ago, maybe 8000km

Sounds like it might be worth a try at least. I'll get looking.

Why wouldn't you be able to get rear control arm bushes?
AFAIK they are the same as the front pressed arm bushes? I used them and they have been fine.

Meyle HD is a rubbish here in russia, I`ve bought Lemf arms all-round and it`s near OEM quallity and near HD price. So I don`t see any reason for buying Meyle HD.

I want to try Hardrace rubber in the near future.

I think i have read in Wrath's S6 thread somewhere that Meyle HD was substandard.Have a look at his thread.
