    Which Poly Wishbone Bushes?

I'm hoping to get a set of cast wishbones for the front, which means that my previous idea of using the Whiteline bushes won't fly, although I can still use them at the rear

So, is Powerflex the only option for the cast wishbones, as I can't find superflex items... any experience much appreciated.

    Or, should I go Delrin?

I was tempted to design my own spherical version but they'd be £200 for 4

There are some Flowflex ones on ebay, which seem unfeasibly cheap...

Is that what you have, Alex? For £30, I'm quite tempted to find out if those flow flex ones are any good

Yeah fitted for a few years now. Still tight as a duck's butt and not a squeak out of them

You could get some turned from PTFE or Delrin?

Yes, Delrin is tempting but as the car is mainly used on the road, I feel that a little compliance is worth it.

I have the Powerflex one's all round, the previous owner fitted them back in 2006 and their still in very good shape, no squeaks or play etc.

Due to price I took a gamble on a set of the eBay Flowflex jobbies for my 16V MK2 and they seem fine, fit well and no squeaks but I've not done very many miles on them so have no idea how long they'll last.

Might we worth a shot then, for what it's worth.

I inspected the OE ones, which were replaced less than 20k miles ago and they're just useless. I could twist a screwdriver 15+deg with little resistance.

I have superflex on now but the previous owner had powerflex fitted, they seemed fine when we removed them and they had been on 5 odd years

Superflex don't seem to do bushes for cast wishbones

I used power flex black ones ordered from c&r enterprises. No complaints from me.

I had early sets of powerflex bushes which do squeak from time to time. Sounds like it's sorted now on new knes

Cast wishbone bushes are much stiffer than the pressed ones.

I'll be installing the delrin 034 ones... starting to worry about excessive NVH now. Our roads around here are industrial grade (read: rutted and rough).
