ABY Power Steering Pump Belt

    ABY Power Steering Pump Belt

    Has anyone got a guide on how to replace the Power Steering belt on the ABY?

    Does the front bumer need to come off?

    Also, does the Alternator belt etc need to come off for removal of the Power Steering Belt?

    Front bumper doesn't need to be removed.

    You slacked off the bolts on the pump and the thread bolt on the tensioner.

    The alternator belt will need to come off to allow the belt past. Your best to renew both if your in there.

    Then reapply and tighten.

    Rough guide. But be plenty guides on here

      Could someone take a picture from the tensioner bracket and how it is mounted on the pump?

        I’m not near the car atm but there is an adjusterboltvto tension the pas pump next to the inlet manifold
