Yep that's perfect. So my memory was wrong. The hub is 16mm and the adjuster for the rose joint m14. I couldn't find a rose joint like that so had to get one that was m14 on the adjuster and that ment it was 14mm on the hole for the hub so that bolt needed downsized to 14mm. Then you needed to pack the rose joint with washers or a spacer as the oem setup is slightly offset.

Going from m16 to m14 is a 30% reduction in material. Not sure how heavily loaded that bolt is. Wouldn't want it to fail!

I ran this way for a while but got oem arms when I rebuilt the back suspension.

2 months ago i purchased a pair Febi rear transverse links from UK.
so far so good.the OEM links last for 10years before started squeaky.
I also got a pair of unknown crap links a couple years back and the shaft
broken after a big bump on the road.that's CRAZY.
one of a few I5 from Asia.

That is scary! Did it damage the car or wheel?

You were lucky you didn't crash! Here is a picture of the offset required in the rise joint that if using aftermarket rose joints need spacers.
