coupe quattro b2 rear arb install

I have fitted an arb on my rear subframe
the arb comes from a front arb from a old vw passat santana
weld some custom brackets on the rear subframe
the right and left connecting link comes from a vw golf mk2
i have cut them in 2 pieces and weld it back together in a angle to make room for the driveshaft.
afterwards I disassembled everything and painted the pieces black
I also replaced the rear track rods
i know i can place an other rear subframe with arb but it is hard to find in belgium and this is a cheaper solution

That looks nice Nick, well done!

And more importantly, what is it like to drive now?

next job is frontbrakes(curved brake discs 330mm) and custom rollcage in the car
I would like to have the car ready within 2 months
i'm very curious about the results of the v8 torsendiff and rear arb

I fitted a 22mm rear roll bar on my old ur quattro with torsen rear diff, just watch out on throttle lift off as it made mine very tail happy but controllable, once your aware great fun and corners well better on full throttle. very good mod

mine was off a 90 sport i think, I chopped the mounts off the front sub frame, welded them on my rear sub frame and used the original drop links onto the rear wishbones. Iy worked great
