    Un-lowered my car.......again

must be a sign of the times! Couldn't handle the rubbish ride any longer !

Not sure if my h+r setup has gone south or the roads now are just worse than ever, but I wish I'd of done this a long time ago.

Front height of the car looks ok but the back looks like it's on stilts, perhaps it may settle.

Anyone else ditched their lowering springs ?

Yep. I'd like some on an Avant.
Not until you get a decent car, read older, and start driving that you realise
not only how ***** the roads are in South London, but how many poxy speed humps there are

I get on well with my KWs but I am lucky that roads local to me are way better than other areas of the country. Don't get me wrong they are still ****. In Austria at the minute. Don't think they have a word for pothole. The roads are impeccable.

Switched back to stock springs after running H&R's for a while. The ride was terrible and it was just too low for country roads. Am now very happy with stock springs and Bilstein shocks.

Is that the first time you have been to Austria?? Austria and Germany get a massive thumbs up from me.Far superior to the UK in many many ways.

I criticise England at times only because the Politicians are constantly telling us we are are the powerhouse of Europe as far as economic growth is concerned at this moment and we all also the 6th largest economy on earth yet England is a toilet compared to Austria who are at no 28 on that table. A lot of our roads are now verging on third world standards and worse and It doesn't take an iron stein to work out which population is being lied to or indeed treated like C U next tuesdays.I love our country and for the reasons i mentioned above i hate it too.

Our problem in the uk is politicians have worshiped bankers instead of industry for decades and more recently handed hundreds of billions to UK bankers who along with the worlds remaining too big to fail banks bankers screwed up the worlds economies. The British people are now paying for their mistakes and have been over the last 5 years unlike Austria despite they are 28th on the table enjoy a much better standard of living than we do here in the Uk.

It's time to wake up folks and realise the individual person here in the UK isn't afforded the same decent standards or levels of living as many of our European counterparts enjoy,so why is that then when we are the 6th largest economy on earth.

So if you like lowered springs just think how much nicer it would be to enjoy them if our roads were kept up to standard and maintained as well as each and everyone of us pays car tax for.

I drove mine on lowered springs and konis for a couple of years, I cracked my screen going over a mountain road in wales when it bottomed out. I got some rs2 springs from someone on the forum, put a new set of konis on and i have never regretted it. Lowered cars are great for the track or for cruising but hard driving demands a resonable amount of suspension travel especially where I am in Wales. I will not have a lowered car again.

Ditched the H&R's off my Coupe, transformed the car.

My RS2 is currently sat on lower springs, they won't be on there for much longer.

Just make sure you all put the springs the right way up, the end with the flat spot goes at the bottom, with the coloured dots being towards the bottom half of the spring too
