I've got solid ones on mine but thinking i may replace them with powerflex over the summer, if nothing else to stop the slow degredation of the ally ones once the weather gets past the anodised coating which seems to happen after a few years.
anyone using powerflex subframe bushes?

I replaced the solid alloy ones on my Coupe with Superflex items, one of the best things I've done to the car handling wide since I've had it.
Solid is the way to go for the track but there needs to be some give on the road IMO...1990 B3 2.0 80 quattro.

I have to agree on this having had them installed since 2003-ish and slowly getting to the point that i want something which is a little more compliant and not prone to corrosion, i've been through 3 sets now so looking for a fit and forget...literally

i fitted alloy ones to the s2 about 6/7 years ago. on removing them some bits of the edges that were ground facing were starting to crumble. the one which took impact in the accident saved my subframe it must be said.
im still using the bushes now on the new build. will use alloy again when i get some cash together. i start a new job on monday so will be in touch with bush makers soon. so easy to change too.Comment
