Audi Urs4 vs Audi A6 2.8 v6 quattro automatic diference
I came across on Audi A6 2.8 v6 quattro but he is automatic.
Since i cant find anywhere, what are the difference between shaft drive and rear differential?
If they are same or similar i might buy the car since he is withoud engine and prety cheap

You didn't say which year so I randomly selected 1996. A 4A20M6 (would be on the build tag in the boot) C4 had the 2.6L 150 hp V6 with the CRH 4 spd automatic and a CKF rear differential. This CKF was a 37/9 croiwn/pinion (4.11:1) non-locking rear diff. It is marked with green.
The propeller (drive) shaft for the CRH automatic was the 4A0521101D, which is different length than the 4A0521101B used with the 6 spd manuals.
Find the build tag with the six letter/digit model code to confirm/deny the above.

The VIN number would help a dealer tell you what is what. I am not a dealer.
Looks like I guessed correctly, i.e. 1996 4A20M6, so the rear diff should be a non-locker EDL with 37/9 crown and pinion (would "work" in an UrS4 if you don't mind losing the locking function). The drive shaft is wrong (too short or too long) for an UrS4.

In terms of what is good from a 96 C4 A6 and an UrS4 avant:
Hood - nope, wrong shape
Fenders - nope, no flares, wrong shape
Front Bumper - nope, no flares
Rear bumper - would work but no rub strips
Trunk/Boot lid - nope, sedan not avant
Front Doors - shells yes
Front door windows - glass yes, motor no, control system different
Rear doors - not sure, maybe shells (sedan vs avant)
Rear door windows - nope, wrong shape (sedan vs avant)
rear seat bottom - nope, wrong shape, wrong pattern
Front seats - not recaros
Front console - nope, radio cage, cigarette lighter differences
Rear Console - nope, rear diff control / cigarette lighter
Instrument cluster - nope, different design, etc.
Dash - yeh, probably
Inner door panels - yes, probably, but you'd have to modify the rear ones to accept the avant door speakers (BTDT with DIY)
Engine - nope
Transmission - nope
Drive shaft - nope
Rear diff - yes, sort of, no-diff lock
Gas tank - probably
Front brakes - nope
Rear brakes - nope
There is more but I am bored now.
