  • UrS C4 Steering arm bushes

    Hey folks!

Has anyone tried to replace steering arm bushes with these?
    http://adparts.eu/en/auto/suspension...-pff3-405.html

These are for V8/200 but the diameter of the bushes looks same on both arms from Typ 44 and C4. Would be a good replacement.

I have no idea what you are talking about. There are no bushings between the rack and the tie rods and the arms on the struts.

        Okay. You got me.

Worth a shot. I haven't heard of anyone over here replacing those bushings. The complete tie-rod, maybe, even then, rarely.

Yeah it usually goes with the whole rod, but I have seen that the bush dies and you have to replace the whole rod, even though the end joint is fine. Poly bushes might be a good option.

Part numbers between Typ44 and C4 rods are different of course. But they look same on the bush side.

I used them, worked great but I had to cut them in half to install. I'm happy with the results.

The power flex poly bushes for a v8 Quattro work there. Ring bearer gave me the idea.
They work and are firmer that stock bushes. @thuppu I'm trying to get Albert to make
front & rear tie-rods with uni-ball or Fluro joints. I'm waiting to see what he says. He makes
a nice set for the coupe already.
