Didn't pay much attention to my old bushes before I removed them!!.....so, does the chamfer go at the bottom so the washer acts on the whole area....or not. The bit with the chamfer is also thicker than the other half of the bush so obviously makes a difference as to how close to the chassis it will sit depending on how it's fitted? Help!!
PLEASE NOTE PICTURE UPSIDE DOWN. Thanks in advance.
Or does it go the other way so the smaller area(like that of the old bush?) is in contact with the chassis?
I'm thinking this way as I've just offered it up with the chamfered bit to the bottom and it seems hell-of-a close to the sump.
(just on my tod, 'tis a bit of a juggle!)
Ehm, the fitting instructions say as Alex says.... and as mine are fitted.
Having it the other way the washer would do nothing but cut into the bush!
I hear you, will keep an eye on them. Didn't get fitting instructions with them, did you pay extra for them
Is there "on line" fitting instructions......wonder why powerflex chap said other way?
