  • Servotronic/Powersteering Issue/Audi S6 C4

Hello , I have problem on Audi S6 Plus . When I want to turn the steering wheel , wheel is difficult to turn and it stops the pulley on power steering pump. Any ideas ? Oil is new , and the problem start after changing the belt but nothing else was done .

Thank you boys , but this is not the problem , already checked .
I dont know how to explain. Pulley is rotating normally but when i touch the turning wheel , it feels jammed or stucked . Only 1 cm of turning the wheel is enough for belt to slip . When holding the turning wheel in the stucked position it feels like something is pulsing . ( pump , in my opinion) Doesnot matter if turning to left or right ...

How our Power Steering and Power Brake Pump Works

This info was written for the AAN but the S6Plus (and my 94 V8 S4 avant) still use the tandem pump system to provide both brake boost and power steering. I think you need a new tandem pump. PN 054145165LX http://audi.7zap.com/en/rdw/audi+s6+.../145-145088/#1

You say fluid is new, what else have you done when the belt was changed?
            Was the pump removed?
            Was the pulley removed?
            Was the hydraulic lines removed?

              Pump No
              Lines No
              Pulley No

Are there any vents in steering ? It looks like some vents are closed so the fluid can not flow . Only feeling.
