KW V1s WITH ALBERT TOP MOUNTS FITTED

Anyone have KW v1s fitted to their car with Albert's adjustable top mounts fitted and got some picky's of the conversion plse I have just bought this set up would like to see end result before i embark on doing mine.

I have just fitted the top mounts to the coilovers ready to fit but just remembered that there are top plates to keep oem shocks on the turret and there not enough thread on the coilovers to fit the plates so was wondering how they stay in place.

You don't use the OEM retainer. Remove the 5 x bolts on the topmount and take the retainer plate off the top. That then bolts back on when you have fitted the strut assembly to the car.

I also used some thick washers under the bearing to spread the load on the plastic spring perch
