    Electric power steering hard lines

    Just after some opinions.

I am fitting an MR2 pump in the boot of my car to run the PAS. I was thinking of getting banjo fittings that convert to a double flared 8mm copper line. Then run it through a bulkhead connector into the cabin and along the tunnel into the boot or possibly on the outside to aid fluid cooling and into the boot.

Any thoughts on the use of copper lines or better alternatives?

    Thanks

I'm looking at doing similar on my car,i've not really seen copper used for pas hard lines before,it all seems to be stainless,i don't know if there's a specific reason for it though
    It's a love/hate relationship with the S2,i love it,it hates me

To add to this,i've had a quick read up online and it seems copper isn't suitable as it wont stand up to the pressure, the lines also need to be flexible, might be better using flexible pas line with stainless banjos/fittings

I would use cunifer, not copper.

I think a flex line from the pump to hardline on the body would be a good idea?

Thats what i meant by copper, i have already bought loads for fuel lines.
Good shout with a flex line there for sure. I might get everything mounted and then go see local hydraulics place and see how much they will make them for. I could maybe buy the line, ends, ferrules etc and make them up and take them back to be crimped.
