Another rear ARB question

Hi guys,

I have searched but I'm finding differing results so can anyone clarify what size the stock rear ARB is on a S2(coupe)?

Basically I ordered a stock S2 rear bar from Germany to replace the bar on my 2.8cq but it doesn't look any larger in reality to my existing bar. I checked part numbers before I ordered and ABY/3B bars were a different part number so I assumed(wrongly?) that it would be a larger bar than the one listed for my AAH.
From the parts diagrams I do remember wondering why there are two bars listed but only one bush so now wondering if all CQs share the same size of rear bar and that I now have two of them

3B/ABY was different to all the other coupes. From memory the difference is about 1mm in diameter, you probably couldn't tell the difference by eye. Upgrading is a waste of time IMO, go find a whiteline rear bar instead (BAR14z).

3B/ABY was different to all the other coupes. From memory the difference is about 1mm in diameter, you probably couldn't tell the difference by eye. Upgrading is a waste of time IMO, go find a whiteline rear bar instead (BAR14z).

Thanks, that sort of figures. My original was scabby so I cleaned it up, painted it and the one I bought has been stripped and powder coated so comparing the original sizes will be pointless if we're only talking an original difference of 1mm.
I had been looking for a Whiteline but no one stocks them, still waiting on a rep getting back to me to see if it's even still available and with a time scale. I really just wanted something quick to get back on the road so will hopefully sell on the 2nd bar then see what pops up and perhaps upgrade in the future.
