S2 Avant rear hub swap into Coupe

Hello,

I just purchased S2 Avant rear hubs and wanted to ask what are the correct dimensions and can they be mounted in coupe's bearing housing? As I have searched it shows it has different dimensions from usual 75mm bearing which is in B3/B4 Coupe rear.

Any info much appreciated.

Avant rear hubs are mounted with 82mm bearings. So, doable with extra costs. There were projects here like machining hubcarrier to take 82mm bearing or machining hubs to be pressed into 75mm bearing from BMW... Also other CV-joints and brakes offset change must be considered. Doable, but...

Offset on the Avant hubs is different than on the Coupe.
As stated above.

Offset difference is not always bad. Sometimes it can make good job in pair with brakes upgrade.
