There certainly looks to be a design flaw with them. Do they state that they will work with non OE suspension setups? Do you have offset subframe bushes, lowered springs, etc?
Hello
We are sorry to see that this problem still exist. During development of this top mount we have tested it on five cars (b2, b3 and b4 in different chassis). Despite our efforts on development and testing level we didn’t notice that problem. We want to provide the biggest possible caster / camber adjustment and it gave us 13.5mm offset which translates to +/- 1.3 degree. The biggest value on the market.
After we release our product to the market we received few signals about the nut rubbing the body (like you shown on the pictures). After further investigation we found that the body work is not the same on every chassis. We designed a new nut. We send a pair of new nuts to every customer who inform us about the problem.
Every set of top mounts sold now comes with corrected nuts.
Please give us your address and we send you the right nuts.
If someone else has old type of nuts please send us an email or pm.
All the time we listen to our customers and try to provide the best products so we remain at your service.
