    Lowering an 80 B4 93'

    Evening,
after some search through the web, thought to myself - why not lower my B4?
Everything I found was from decades ago, with down/broken links and almost no info.
Main idea is to lower the car, so the wheels will fit the arches just right , no scraping, no modding etc. Part two is the ride quality, don't want it to be rough as a go-kart but kinda sensible, if you know what I mean.
The car itself is a 93' 80 B4 1.9TDI, currently on stock(unsure) front damp./springs and Avant rear springs with saloon damps running 205/55/R16 Nokians (terrible quality of summer tires btw).

#1 - Should I go for all-round suspension or only springs?
    #2 - Where can I find pics of 40/40 , 60/40 lowered cars.
#3 - Can you recommend make and model, or sets or somewhere to buy from?

    Cheers!

P.S Pics will be up soon!

Coilovers would likely give the best ride. I had koni and hnr on my s2 but it was too hard

I used a Jamex -60mm kit on my Type89 Audi 80 Sport, it was low and comfortable....

Coils are too hard for me, had a ride in a Golf MK2 on those and my kidneys fell.

i got this a month or so ago, and put the ASA'/s on. its lowered with a spring kit meant for an FWD car (not Quattro) but it rides fine i guess. 205/40-17 tires are too short, i do want to put a taller tire on it, like 215/45 or 225/45.

Sorry but I don't have pics of my old 80 tdi. I used bilstein shocks and 40 mil lowering springs from euro car parts. Lowered it beautiful and it drove comfortably

Well, this sits and idea or so lower than mine and im with avant rear springs and Monroe shocks , dont know what you've got.

That's expensive for me atm., although it sits quite nice, just the way I want it to.
BTW B3 rear springs/shocks are different from B4's , unlike the front.

I know Im picky, and what not, but just looking for the best options.

                Nice suggestions tho!

Has someone made air susp. for B4? Scrolling around , found full sets for around 500 to 1000 eur.
