wheel alignment

I know some people on here are not his biggest fan but try qst in haywards heath. He does four wheel allignment and i have been to him everytime with my ur and always found them to be brilliant.

Qst installed my new springs and shocks and never done alignment, it did cost me four new tyres.

After all this I don’t think is alignment it could be something else, ohh well if top mounts are Ok I'll be making my way to tyre shop for four brand new Dunlop’s 8080's

I was gonna suggest tyres rob, since fitting new ones on mine its transformed the ride/handling, and i had exactly the same symptoms as you.

I Had Mine done at Elite in Rainham.......
Well they put it on the ramp and set the kit up, I made sure they did what I wanted

Ended up having 2 new Track rod ends as they destroyed the old ones freeing them off, bit of a nightmare by all accounts

Not sure I would reccomend them though......glorified tyre fitters with lots of big hammers

Next time I`ll buy a Camber gauge and do it myself, (I have access to tracking kit)it`ll be cheaper and a better job as well

There is a place in Maldon with full 4 wheel alignment kit as well. Supatyres or something ?

Really good Place I know in Northampton, where we used to send all the Cars from Cosworth (Audi RS6 etc) for alignment is "New Duston Garage" about £40ish IIRC and very good service.

4 wheel alignment

My local Audi dealer mailed me this week - are doing 4 wheel alignment at £99 + VAT until June.

This is Blackburn. I don't know if it's anymore widespread than this.

Bloody hell a dealer charging that much!!! should take no more than 1.5hrs even allowing for some frozen adjusters, being 4wd you really need a proper alignment not by kwik fit, although i doubt you would take it there anyway.

If any of the North East lads need this doing there is a guy here that is absolutely **** hot. He's got the full £10k kit for doing the alignment and camber settings. He's done mine and Paul's (Jas's bro) and he can get it to the nearest mm.

Just an update.
After five alignments and lots of other stuff done I decided to get four new boots fitted, cost of new Dunlops 8080 £ 420 with sixth wheel alignment done just to make sure is all perfect again

There is a place in Nottingham called Nottingham alignment centre. Ive never used it personally but it has been recommended by a few people.

Gonna get mine done there when I get round to it.
