Can the RS2 farb be redesigned with improvements?????? Maybe a slightly thicker bar / better quality metal etc - just thinking aloud

          S2 ABY Avant/Sedan: 26mm FARB
          RS2:28mm FARB

          S2 ABY Avant/Sedan: 12mm RARB
          RS2: 16mm RARB

Hey Sweeper.. Interetsing stuff. If it was possible to use A4 style FARBs then you'd have cheap ARB's ranging from 27 to 31mm. The though has crossed my mind but it feels like you're gonna have to switch sides of the stuts.

The one we are having made will be 28mm but will be adjustable, like the Whiteline. This will give you 3 settings to play with. Should be able to set your chassis how you like it or just stiffen it for track days.

Hmm... I've kind of been waiting for my RS2 FARB for nearly 3 months now. I'm not sure I can give up on it. The adjustment idea sounds good. From what I hear I'm not sure the bar needs to be thicker. I think most of us want less understeer.

Oh spooky Mark - I was gonna ask that you put that into the specification ?

What I would like to know is where your having them made and from what material - I assume its from some kind of established motor trade supplier with a history in this field. Are you able to specifiy torsional rigidity or any other spec that you can gleam from the factory RS2 item. I'm just concerned that we wouldn't want the front bar to be TOO stiff - I'm all for reduced body roll, but I don't want lots more understeer - though of course a stiffer rear helps counteract this.

All the spec's should be with me shortly. As soon as I get them I will post them here. The guy who is making them specializes in the manufacturer of springs and sprung bar etc.......and had done if for a good 20 years.
