    prop alinement

think jamo mentioned this ages ago and it got filed to the back of my head,

going down the motorway last night "70mph" and i can feel a slight vibration,

usually i would put this down to wheel balancing but that goes away when simple harmonic motion kicks in

could my prop be slightly miss alined on either the gear box or the diff?

when i put it on it did locate

think i have a ******ed rear wheel brg aswell which it also could be

i have 20mm steel rear sub frame bushes so any vibration my car turns into the worlds biggest tunning fork!

    regards
    will

It is very annoying indeed. Mines not right at this moment aswell. Thats because the prop shaft bearing is fukced. There's play in it and it whines like a pig thats going to the butcher. I'd check that first.

    Cheers

      jeffer get it changed!!!!!!

thursday night i was givin it some up the M62 towards leeds,

saw ChrisM so pulled off on the M606

just coming up to the roundabout..............

BANG! rear wheels lock then unlock then lock making the most god auwfull noise

Main prop bearing (in the diff) has fallen apart not stripped it yet to make 100% sure but could well have been alot worse had i not pulled off the motorway

flat bed back to new mills big thumbs up to the RAC who actually did as i said unlike "another" company who usally send a beaver tail first even if you have told em you NEED a flat bed

so friday was spent putting my 7A diff/drive shafts back on to go down to silverstone on saturday
