    Torque Specs

Changing out the clutch assembly and flywheel this weekend. I need to know what the torque specs for the flywheel to crankshaft bolts, clutch cover to flywheel bolts are. Any BTDTs about aluminum flywheel install vs steel? I have an aluminum Fidanza that is going back in place of the manhole cover that is in there now.
    Thanks, Chris

3B manual states 30Nm + 90 degrees for the flywheel to crankshaft bolts.

Original AAN manual states the same, but a later update for AAN/ABY states 40Nm plus 180 degrees

Use of locking compound is required of course.

The 01E book states 25Nm for the bolts which secure the clutch cover to the flywheel. Can't imagine the 3B/01A combination would be any different. Use a diagonal tightening pattern on these...

Sadly, only a 7a at this point. Like every other Coupe owner in North America I am looking for a suitable donor. Oh well, at least it has a "basket of snakes" on it and after tomorrow, an alloy flywheel! Too bad a 6-speed will not go back in with the new clutch .
            Thanks, Chris
