Gearbox Ratios

Does anyone know what the ratios for the gearbox and final drive are for the S2 6-speeder?

I am doing a transplant into my 10v URQ and have one of those Excel calculators that shows speed at max revs in each gear etc but can't find the numbers anywhere....

6 speed S2 gearbox (CGR code) ratios are as follows:

Final drive 37 : 9 = 4.111

1st gear 28 : 8 = 3.500

2nd gear 34 : 18 = 1.889

3rd gear 33 : 25 = 1.320

4th gear 30 : 29 = 1.034

5th gear 30 : 35 = 0.857

6th gear 27 : 37 = 0.730

Reverse gear 38 : 11 = 3.455

Ben, thanks mate. You wouldn't happen to know what the ratios on the std URQ 016 5-speeder are do you........??!

Sorry mate, haven't got those ratios to hand. Bit too for the electronic workshop manual to cover.

you have to read the GEAR CODE.stands between the upper conecting bolts to the engine and gearbox. fx: 7z and some nr.the coding are 7z......then send me some coding,and i will tell the final ratio,and others differense.audi have made other final ratio than 4,111. 95% of all audi are 4,111. the other are 3,889 (urq) some are 3,700....and the weak engine (older 1,8) have 4,560 and 4,900
