  • Gearshift motion dimensions

Does anyone here at the Fountain of Knowledge have the information I am looking for?

What I need to know, is the dimensions related to the motion of the gearshift actuating pin that the gearshift rod is attached to - as in, the fore and aft motion and the rotation required to select the gears.

I am looking for this info primarily for a five speed, but I am interested in all types used including six speed and UR Quattro type gearboxes, and indeed if there are any glaringly obvious variations in the way the gearshift is actuated (eg alternative systems like twin levers on the box).

Also interested in any GA drawings that show existing bosses and holes/studs on the gearbox housing, especially in the vicinity of the gearshift actuation.

Any information appreciated! Thanks in advance -
