Can anyone tell me what this gearbox is, and if it will fit onto a 3B motor please?

Hello and . The numbers you've given are not the gearbox codes, those are the casting numbers which could be from any 016 quattro transmission. You need the 2 or 3 digit code stamped into the top of the bellhousing, that will give details of ratios etc. These could be US, APX ...

theese are the old tranny with the locking unit in,not with the torsen.before 1988
